Friday’s comic can be found here. Get it while it’s caliente. I’ve also got some Rage fan art for you on our DeviantArt page. Loosum!

Tiny Tower is another iPhone game I’ve been playing a lot. I say “playing” when I probably really mean “managing.” The game has done an excellent job of turning me into Pavlov’s dog. I can’t overcome the satisfaction I get from responding to the push notifications, so I still play it constantly.

In Tiny Tower I’m building my own skyscraper and populating it with “bitizens”, tiny sprite characters. The skyscraper is built one floor at a time. Once I’ve made enough money I can choose from a list of floor types (Recreation, Residential, Retail, etc.) and construction worker bitizens set to work on my new addition. The push notifications come from when these new floors need restocking. Without items to sell my businesses can’t make me any more money, so I have to make sure to keep them well supplied.

If this is sounding like work to you, well, maybe it is a little. I look at it as a property management sim, though. It’s SimCity lite. Do people still remember SimCity? Okay, it’s Farmville then, except not bad.

Also, if you play it, don’t forget to check out BitBook in the menu. Your bitizens are saying some funny stuff in there.
