“Means what you think it means“? Quit being so dramatic, self. In plain language, what’s in store for the future of Mud County Rodeo? Does Mud County Rodeo have a future?

Short answer: yes.

The MCR site isn’t going anywhere. The old comics will still be here. However, last Friday’s comic marks the end of regular Wednesday and Friday updates. New MCR comics will come from time to time because I still want to make them, but I won’t put a guarantee on when they’ll arrive. If you want to be notified when they go up, subscribe to our RSS or follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

Right now it’s my intention to start something else, to make something non-MCR-related my main focus. Until I have a more sturdy grasp on what this “something else” is though, I think I should play my cards close to my chest. I’ll post here when I figure it out.

For everyone who has read MCR and genuinely enjoyed the comics, I’m sorry. I know you’re probably less than thrilled about this news. I feel like I’m letting you down here, but I had to do something. Hopefully I’ll be able to make up for in comic quality what you’ll be missing in quantity.
